The only drinking water source is at the intersection with the La Chua Trail. So bring enough to drink!

Water is sweet and cool. The hose is there but the pro tip is to bring your own nozzle. I will leave one but who knows how long it will stay. It was delicious to wash off the trail dust and sweat. Who doesn’t like an outdoor shower. Be careful of prudish Americans.

A very nice track. The soil was quite sandy but with very few loose sections. Corners are a different story, a taller knob on the shoulder might help with grip. Otherwise it’s a pretty fast track with just some root sections to slow you down. Bathrooms and porta potties were available as was a bike washing station! Fee to use the park, $4 per car

Designated as a U.S. National Natural Landmark, this state park is truly a natural wonder. As you explore the park you won't be surprised to see alligators and a dizzying array of birds. However, spotting the wild roaming bison and horses that call the park home might be a bit unexpected. In fact, this is the only place in Florida where such sights can be seen.
