The Römerweg is a really nasty uphill that not only costs a lot of money, but also has a few pushing sections - even for eBikers. The construction site in the middle (renewal of the Trans-Europe natural gas pipeline) is difficult to cross even when it is dry (when it is wet? Autumn/Winter?) and shortly afterwards a 20% uphill with an S-curve ensures further sliding fun. Once you've finally reached the "Bald Head", you know what you've achieved. Unfortunately there is no 'better' uphill from Silz towards Kahler Kopf / Hundsfelsen. In my opinion, a suboptimal piece on the MTB8 that calls for an alternative.

As an uphill part of Tour 10. Very demanding with an organic bike and not only long, but also with demanding uphill hairpin bends. I think the other way around the trail would be a nice flowy descent.

This single trail is just great. It meanders along the slope without losing much of its height - also ideal for gravel bikers! 💫
