Hochsaler Wühre above Hottingen

Very nice sections that you can ride with the MTB and practice. Narrow, roots and corners and edges, but only cool. Certainly not suitable for everyone equally well to follow …

Hintere Wühre Trail

Just behind the sign is a small wooden bridge, cross it, then turn right and walk along the Wühre. This is a great trail to run and ends again on the normal forest path.

I've ridden this ditch a few times. It's true. It's relatively narrow, and in certain places, it's really impossible to ride without dismounting. But, the route along the ditch is simply beautiful. On the other hand, I highly recommend the "Heidenwuhre" (Heathen Wuhre). There, you can actually dismount, except for about three times, and ride over the roots for a full 6 kilometers.

Absolutely great place to take a break and take a breather. In the summer very nice and cool by the water and protected from the sun. Always happy again...

Mega nice trail along the Wühre. But only for skilled MTB riders because of roots and stones that demand a bit of skill. Extra caution when wet. But it's worth it. We usually take this detour with us when we are nearby.

wonderful trail with great views at the Peterskanzel. You can also get in at the highest point at Haide and choose a side to Hohenfels or Tiefenstein.

You can drive on the Wührendamm, see above. Those who are not so sure, can travel long distances on the trails directly above parallel to the Wuhr.
