A beautiful, successful trail that ends directly at Lake Rechnitz.

In the last part you can choose between red and black, I would describe the red part as very difficult.

A nice bike park, without a lift but with well-designed trails. For anyone who likes to ride uphill trails, Geschreibenstein is a great bike area.

In my opinion the best trail of all here.

I rode the trail for the first time at the beginning of the year. I had my XC bike with me (Canyon Lux) and was happy with the choice. I probably wouldn't have enjoyed the trail with the Enduro. You have to help too much with pedal pressure, especially in the upper part. A light, stiff and fast bike definitely helps to keep the pace and fun going. Ideal as a marathon/cross country training route with the long climb. The trail is also great for beginners and families. However, gravity junkies will have no fun here or only in the lower part. All in all, a wonderfully built, great trail that certainly hasn't seen me for the last time. However, I'm sticking with the race fully. By the way, the ground was mostly dry, only in the last part does the moisture persist and the trail becomes muddier. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkBxN-wv8Mc

Yes, for experienced riders, the Rechnitz Trail is known for its difficulty, featuring steep berms, high-speed passages, drops, tables, and a unique stone gully called "The Canyon." Another challenging option is the Batthyány Trail, which includes rocky sections, technical uphill passages, and a challenging black line with steep, tight hairpins.
Yes, the region is known for family-friendly cycling routes. The Esterházy Trail Entrance offers a 'blue' easy trail that is over 8 km long, with its first part being fairly flat and suitable for the whole family. It also has variants for different skill levels, ensuring a pleasant experience for beginners.
Beyond the specific trails, Piringsdorf provides access to long-distance cycling routes. The **R1 Jubilee Cycle Route** extends from Seewinkel to Kalch in southern Burgenland, and the **B45 Sonnenland Route** is a circular path through the wine-growing region of Blaufränkischland. The **Zöberntal-Rabnitztal Cycle Trail (B41)** is another moderately difficult option following the Zöbernbach stream.

Absolutely. The Esterházy Trail Enduro Line (Black) offers a very narrow, steep, and exposed descent with small stone drops and tight, flat turns, requiring skill and controlled braking. Similarly, the black line on the Batthyány Trail features extremely steep, sloped terrain with one tight hairpin after another, demanding courage and skill.
Besides mountain biking, the region offers diverse outdoor activities. You can explore gravel biking routes like the 'Artworks at Stoober Bach – Lutzmannsburg Weir loop' or enjoy touring bicycle routes such as the 'Zöbernbach Cycle Path – Wayside Cross on Römerweg loop'. There are also hiking opportunities, including the 'Medieval Village loop' from Piringsdorf.
