This is an S3 or higher. Calling this trail a Shared Trail is wrong. The thing is barely rideable even for pros because it is too narrow, for example. Partially there are climbing ropes and stirrups in the rock… sorry, it's no fun

Quite busy as there is a cable car going up here, but the view is still manageable!

Beautiful, quiet town, overlooking a splendid lake, at the foot of fantastic mountains, such as Mirnock where you can practice many sporting activities.

This is perhaps the hardest trail in the area which alternates flow sections where you need to let go of the brakes, with more technical sections where you need to be careful. Comfortable climb either partly along a dirt road or completely on asphalt.

You descend from the Kaiserburg on the longest flow trail in Europe to a crossroads on the left to find the "Rossalmhuttentrail" (signed T8), further down at a certain point you come across the crossroads for "Alter Almweg-trail" on the left (T1 ). This results in a magnificent descent of around 1000 metres, among the most beautiful in the area.

Super S2+ trail with a carrying passage (in my opinion simply not ridable for the not absolute pro) of approx. 1 minute in the middle / lower part of the trail at 2 key points that everyone will recognize as such ;-) With a good choice of line, the rest is absolutely rideable with good driving technique and is even more fun with every further descent. Definitely not a trail for beginners. As can be read in the other description, some of it is very steep and screwed up.

It also boasts a skills center with trails like the 'Red Monkey - T32' for technique training, and a unique 9 x 12 meter airbag for safely practicing jumps and airtime.
The lake.bike region offers a convenient Bike Bus System. This system is heavily discounted with the Erlebnis CARD, making it easier to explore the trails and even access neighboring biking regions in Italy and Slovenia.
Absolutely. For experienced riders, the T25 Sternetrail is demanding, rated S2-2.5, with steep sections and heels of 20-30cm, making it unsuitable for beginners. The Kaiserburg to Feld am See Trail Descent also includes short S3 steps, offering a significant challenge for ambitious MTBers who enjoy roots and rubble.
Many trails offer stunning views. The Kaiserburg Mountain Station provides panoramic vistas and serves as the entrance to the Flow Country Trail. The Flow Country Trail Bad Kleinkirchheim itself offers a great view along its 15.9 km length. Additionally, the Feld am See area, surrounded by the Nockberge mountains and the Brennsee, is also a beautiful spot.
Beyond bike parks, the Fresach region offers a variety of outdoor activities. You can explore numerous mountain biking trails, such as the 'Drau Bridge at Puch – Gschritbach Waterfall loop' or the 'West Shore of Millstätter Lake loop'. For those who prefer road cycling, there are routes like the 'Gail Bridge – Pontebbana Cycle Path loop'. Hiking is also popular, with trails leading to summits like 'Berggasthof Renate's Stopover – Mirnock Summit loop'. You can find more details on these activities in the MTB Trails around Fresach, Road Cycling Routes around Fresach, and Mountain Hikes around Fresach guides.
Yes, within the lake.bike region, pump tracks are available in Drobollach and at Lake Afritz. These provide fun for all ages and skill levels, allowing riders to practice their technique and enjoy dynamic riding.
Visitors frequently praise the variety and quality of the trails. The Flow Country Trail Bad Kleinkirchheim is loved for its pure fun, numerous berms, jumps, and great views. The extensive length, beautiful landscapes, high proportion of single trails, and variety of the Kaiserburg to Feld am See Trail Descent are also highly appreciated.
Yes, facilities are often available. At the Kaiserburg Mountain Station, you can enjoy the view and find a restaurant. Along the Flow Country Trail Bad Kleinkirchheim, the Maibrunnhütte offers refreshments. In Feld am See, you can relax by the Brennsee and find delicious fish dishes, especially during the annual fish festival in July.
The summer months are generally ideal for visiting the bike parks. The Flow Country Trail Bad Kleinkirchheim, for example, typically opens in July. Always check local conditions, especially after rain, as some trails like the T25 Sternetrail can become more challenging.
