Recommended with or without children. Kids can really let off steam, and there's something for adults too.

Unfortunately, the point is a construction site. The totems have been dismantled, and the interior is cordoned off with a construction fence. I hope the renovation doesn't take too long.

Blast furnace 5, with its height of more than 70 meters, is the undisputed landmark of the landscape park. Where smelting used to take place around the clock and according to all the rules of the art, today, after a short climb, you can enjoy one of the most breathtaking views of the landscape park, Duisburg and the entire western Ruhr area. The blast furnace and its viewing platform are free, open all year round and around the clock, except in the event of snow, storms and ice. By the way: The blast furnace is part of the Hüttenwerk monument, where you can also learn all sorts of things about the industry of the Ruhr area thanks to an industrial history circular route.

What a surprise! The "Motion Hill" in Revierpark Vonderort was apparently only opened in 2022, so everything looks brand new - hopefully it stays that way for a while. There really is something for all age groups here, for the juniors the square soccer field with the 4 "electronic" goals was the highlight (difficult to explain, just look at it :-)). Don't forget the balls!

Attention, these paths are bridle paths!! There are always riders with their horses here. It can be life-threatening for riders if you shoot down these paths with your bikes. Horses panic and flee!
