The Stachów forest settlement was established in 1843. According to the Geographical Dictionary of the Kingdom of Poland (edition from 1890), Stachów was a forest settlement in the Radom district, in the municipality and parish of Stromiec. There were 2 houses here. The settlement had 5 inhabitants. In the years 1933–1945, it was the seat of the Stachów Forest District (from 1945 Dobieszyn). During World War II, most of the foresters and their families were active in the Home Army and the Peasant Battalions. Sergiusz Hessen hid here. On September 22, 1943, in the Stachów settlement and a dozen or so surrounding villages, the German occupiers carried out mass arrests of people associated with the local resistance movement, arresting several dozen people at that time, including foresters from the Stachów Forest District. The arrested were placed in German concentration camps. In August 1944, the last inhabitants were expelled, and the settlement was destroyed.

I don't recommend it, practically a sandbox next to the tracks. Maybe you can bypass it somehow using those perpendicular roads.

A blue chapel with a statue of Saint Mary. And right next to it a plaque with the right inscription: "Throwing garbage into the forest - you have to be a redneck with a stinking ass, an idiot and a sucker."

Some of the fallen were buried at the cemetery in Głowaczów, while others were buried on the battlefield, on the edge of the forest in Matyldzin. On the grave surrounded by a metal chain, there is a monument commemorating the fallen soldiers in the form of a simple wall with a plaque and an obelisk with Grunwald swords and the silhouette of an eagle.
