I definitely recommend sturdy footwear for the trail along the cliffs! The path is marked with blue markers! At the outer edge of the cliffs, people have been seen jumping into the sea from various heights!

The salt lake is nice to look at, but won't blow you away. The entry side is teeming with swimmers (tourist boats), while the opposite side is much more relaxed. Don't forget your water shoes (rocks, muddy/slippery). The sea is much more appealing for swimming! You can walk around the lake on a path; I recommend sturdy shoes. P.S.: It is NOT Winnetou's "Silver Lake," even though the tour operators like to say that!

Put on decent shoes - the mountain has razor-sharp edges. "The island of Veliki Kornat is almost uninhabited, the vegetation consists exclusively of low plants and a few bushes. When the fire broke out, the responsible fire brigade was informed, which immediately brought 13 men there in a military helicopter. They were supposed to put out the fire. The men were mostly volunteers and had not yet finished their training. There were also 2 young people with them. For unknown reasons, there was a sudden extreme heat buildup, which the men were helpless to deal with. Of the 13 firefighters, only one survived." https://kroatien-nachrichten.de/neue-theorie-uber-die-tragodie-auf-den-kornaten

The lake itself does not offer any special highlights. Its foam crowns are evidence that it is a salt lake.

Great cave Golubinka by the sea can unfortunately only be reached from the water. Kayaks can be rented on the small beach next door. €20 an hour. You can swim wonderfully in the cave.
