The Dijkgatbos remains a great 8km to work on your cornering technique without any dips. You don't gain any altitude, so it is also very suitable as a family route. But if you ride at a bit of a pace, you will still get a nice piece of cake. The parking lot can be pleasantly busy with riders, hikers, and mountain bikers. But because everyone has their own paths, you won't notice the crowds as soon as you enter the forest. On quiet days and with a bit of luck, you will even encounter a few deer or a fox. This route can be combined with 't Wierholt & Hendrik's pad. https://www.komoot.com/nl-nl/highlight/5507276 https://www.komoot.com/nl-nl/highlight/5534768

With 8 km, the Dijkgatbos remains nice to work on your cornering technique without bowls. You don't make height meters there, so it is also extremely suitable as a family route. But if you're going to drive a bit at pace you'll break nicely. The parking lot can be pleasantly busy with riders, hikers and mountain bikers. But because everyone has their own paths, you won't notice the crowds as soon as you enter the forest. On calm days and with a bit of luck, you may even come across a few roe deer or a fox.

Climbing meters in the polder? Yes, you can put your climbing legs to work here in 1.7 km! On 't Wierholt you can climb with an average of 10% to 1519cm (from -200) With a banked corner for enthusiasts that is almost a switchback. At the end you are one and a half meters higher than the beginning of the bend. Then you have to go up a little bit steeply. In the next descent you also get some small jump elements that you can just roll if jumping isn't your thing. Are banked turns and jumps not for you at all? Or was the first climb already disappointing? Then you have two options to shorten the loop. Still, for dessert you get a 20% descent (which not everyone dares to do) for you. Congratulations, you made it to the top. But what goes up must come down again. The final descent of 20% is fairly steep by polder standards. There is no way back, outside the MTB route you are not allowed to cycle. So stand on your pedals in attack position. Keep the center of your weight above the bottom bracket. (your navel) And dose your brakes well so that you go down quietly. Is descending all a piece of cake? Release the brakes and go! But watch out ⚠️ After the bridge, follow a crossing with a walking path! Keep it cozy and cross at a moderate speed. Some tips from Bart Brentjens: https://youtu.be/USb7jqlz8_Q

Nicely laid out technical path, which is now well broken in and sometimes seems endless. Recommended for all MTB and gravel cyclists. Especially for the latter it is an ideal track to practice the driving skills and shifting. Nice initiative, and I think there are 2 banks, so even more fun (and arm training).

Nice beginners challenge especially in combination with Hendrikspad. Then you already come to almost 20 km.
