Good to know that the path does not end at the A1 but there is an underpass

I'm not really a fan of highlighting "benches along the way" - but this is more of a weather shelter; and that can definitely be a highlight in the right weather conditions.

Café Antik is a lovely, rustic destination. The dining room and two smaller rooms invite you to linger, just like at grandma's ("The good old Stubbe"). In nice weather, you can also enjoy the garden. Large slices of cake, all handmade/homemade. Not cheap, €15 for two cups of coffee and two slices of cake. 🍰 This place is home to English junk, from coffee pots to Christmas decorations.

It's no longer worth a visit, as the castle can only be viewed from a distance through the fence. The gardens are also no longer open to visitors.

In addition to mud holes, you also always have to be aware of trees lying across the path.
