BSB Harbor Lindau (Lake Constance)

Highlight • Structure

It is always interesting to watch the hustle and bustle in a port. Here in Lindau, with its distinctive harbor entrance, there is also a lively ferry service.
I brought a postcard with me from a school trip to Lake Constance in 1965. It said:
"Lindau is on Lake Constance, if you don't believe it, come and see for yourself".

You can catch a glimpse of Lake Constance here. Countless small shells lie at your feet. You also have a beautiful view of Langenargen Castle. And every now and then a duck walks in front of the camera lens. 🥰

August 22, 2024, Argen Suspension Bridge Langenargen–Kressbronn

The cable suspension bridge over the Argen river spans the Argen between Kressbronn, district of Gohren, and Langenargen. It was built under the Württemberg King Wilhelm II between 1896 and 1897. It was the first suspension bridge in Germany with wire cables. Today it is no longer used for vehicle traffic, only for bicycles and pedestrians. A great photo opportunity in all seasons.
