EXTREME DANGER!!!! Path leads over smooth, bare rock with a 20% incline. DO NOT GO under wet conditions! About 200m towards Beisfjord from this marked spot there is a ~50m no-fall-zone where you can slip almost 100m down the mountain towards the lake without anything stopping your fall. Path should be secured with ropes, Komoot should give you a warning when planning your route here. Too dangerous for a hiking trail!

A wonderful, secluded hike to the lake. Coming from Beisfjord, the path before the lake leads directly over rock slabs. These are extremely slippery and dangerous when wet. The trail is not recommended in foggy and wet conditions. Even at the end of July, there was still a lot of snow on the lake.

Linken is a short hike from the nearby Mountain Restaurant at the top of the lift from Narvik. It's often ascended by hikers en route to the higher Tredjetoppen, though an easier trail passes Linken's summit to the south. Expect wonderful views of fjords and peaks on a clear day.

Awesome glaciers and lake. Steep and technical terrain, can be (very) slippery when wet. We hiked here in september in good weather but with some wind and while I was 4 months pregnant. Doable, but be careful.
