At Idroscalo you'll find a stable cross country (XC) track and a dirt cycle-pedestrian loop of about 6 km. The official MTB trail is a loop, mostly flat but full of bumps, berms, and technical sections. Inside the park, there's also a real Mountain Bike track, a dirt off-road course that develops over slight rises with bumps, dips, and short technical singletracks. The ground is packed and requires good riding skills and agility.

Parco Lambro, located in the eastern part of Milan (Municipality 3), is one of the largest parks in the city with over 773,000 sq m of green space. Crossed by the river of the same name, it offers a varied landscape with small hills, artificial lakes (like the one on via Feltre), wooded areas, and several farmhouses. It is a gathering place with playgrounds, a skatepark, and botanical paths.

Update 05/17/2025: the route is now "almost" completely feasible, except for the fact that in some places the vegetation is practically invading the path.. which forces you to advance covering your hands to avoid scratching yourself badly with brambles and thorns. I don't want to be polemical.. but we have a mountain bike path in Milan.. it's possible that there is no one who takes care of it in a slightly more scrupulous way. Leaving aside the fact that the grass at the side of the path is over a meter high.. but this now seems to be the trend everywhere.. let's let the grass grow everywhere.. biodiversity.. no comment.. The path itself is also very nice for being in Milan, you could also organize some races on an annual basis, to revalue the territory and instead no association takes the initiative.. oh well. I hope it is completely restored so as not to compromise the beautiful work done years ago.

The MTB trail is really cool and quite technical. Whatch out for the wildlife here, sometimes rabbits and pheasants cross the trail right in front of you. After rainy periods the lower (the faster, straight section) part of the trail is flooded with water and cannot be used.

Very varied park, very inside the city. You can get there easily by Metro

The MTB track is almost exactly 7 km long and some parts of it are okay to do with a cyclocross, but it's designated for an MTB.

While Mediglia doesn't feature traditional downhill bike parks, the area is renowned for its extensive network of cycling routes and trails. You'll find picturesque rides along historic canal systems like the Naviglio Grande and Naviglio Pavese, as well as diverse terrain within the vast Parco Agricolo Sud Milano, suitable for road cycling, mountain biking, and gravel biking.
Yes, you can find dedicated mountain biking trails. For example, the MTB Trail – Parco Cassinis offers a varied and sporty course. Additionally, the Idroscalo area features specific MTB circuits like the Idroscalo Mountain Bike, Cyclocross and Gravel Course with jumps and bumps, and a Singletrack at Idroscalo which is a cross-country track with technical sections.
