The climb from Caneva to Passo Crosetta is a long and constant ascent, ideal for those seeking an endurance challenge. The route measures approximately 17 km with an elevation gain of 1,090 meters. The average gradient is 6.5%, but this figure is misleading: the climb is irregular and features several sections above 10%, with maximum peaks of 12-13%. After the first half, the road plunges into the centuries-old beech forest of Cansiglio, offering shade and more manageable gradients that allow you to regain your rhythm. Reaching the pass at 1,118 meters brings the satisfaction of having overcome an "alpine" elevation gain starting almost from sea level, in a natural setting of extraordinary beauty.

Classic climb of Cansiglio passing by Fregona. Fairly regular climb with some peaks above 10% up to Valsalega, then 1 km challenging with a straight. Then the last 3 km the road becomes gentler up to the pass. Descent to the plain where the natural spectacle opens up, crossed it begins a bit of up and down to Pian Osteria (fountain) and Camping (fountain). Descent with a short climb to Spert and then down towards Farra d'Alpago. Another 5 km slightly uphill to Sella Fadalto and then down towards Vittorio Veneto passing under the highway viaducts. To be done in any season.

Osteria La Crosetta offers home-made cuisine favoring 0 km products. I recommend the homemade desserts and if you are passing through in the autumn period, in the afternoon you will find chestnuts and mulled wine.
