After the Färnstu Trail was officially approved by the authorities, the associated requirements were implemented on April 20, 2024. This included a new access road about 80 meters higher up, as well as various passing places about 2x3 meters in size. Slow-down chicanes had to be erected where the bike trail meets the hiking trail. This is the case at the new access road and at the two exits, although one was removed by someone shortly after our deployment. Unfortunately, this does not achieve anything in this case, except unnecessary work and the risk that the trail will not be approved by the authorities when it is finally approved. So here is a call to everyone to respect the necessary construction measures. In a second step, appropriate signage will follow, as at the Powerman Cave. This is just as non-debatable as the construction measures already described and implemented. With this in mind, we hope that the bikers who want to use the trail will understand and have fun. www.trailprotectors.ch ✌🏻🚵🏻♂️🤘🏻

The Bärenried Trail is currently (05/2023) still in its infancy, although a lot of hard work and sweat has certainly gone into the existing trail. After all, the trail has already been legalized and it has a few treats to offer. What I was still missing for orientation was clear signage showing where the start and end are. I hope that this loop/highlight improves that a bit. Good luck to the organizers and fun for the bikers. https://www.lokalhelden.ch/baerenried ✌🏻🚵🏻♂️🤘🏻
