Dymock Downhill Trail

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

Great down hill section leading to some fun tractor tracks, great for practicing your pumping technique. Big smiles from me 🤙

Twisty Forest Singletrack

Highlight • Forest

Might be worth preparing yourself for all the nettles as i'm still feeling the sting 6 hours later. Wear some joggers as the bottom section is overgrown and hanging into the path, there are also a few brambles to negotiate but it's pretty much all downhill and there are some nice rooty sections to get a bit more technical.

Cow fields on the northern side of the Grand Union Canal, take care and be mindful of livestock 🐮

Broken Tarmac Singletrack

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

Normally car free. Tarmac broken and bumpy with gravel. Great cut through on mtb but would avoid on a road bike in winter

Good spot for practicing cornering, jumps etc. Suffering a bit with getting parts washed away with the persistent rain we have had just lately (Dec-Jan 2022-23).

Be careful if you use the car park - there are charges and the instructions are not clear. Quite a few people have been fined because they misunderstood the instructions. It says the first hour is free then £X for 2 hours £Y for 3 hours (or similar); so people think if they pay for 2 hours they get 3. I think it should say UP TO 1 hour free. UP TO 2 hours £X etc. You have to use the app to book in and pay as soon as you arrive I think. Anyway check the instructions very thoroughly.
