Progonat Waterfall

Highlight • Waterfall

The best way to get to the lower part of the waterfall is via the path that begins in Progonat and is signposted. If you want to go to the incredible multi-stage waterfall, the path from there is a bit complicated. It is easier if you come from the steep curve of the road between Lekdush and Progonat and climb over the guard rail there. Then simply follow the water in the stream bed and you will come to a path that is soon marked with red sprayed arrows. Both paths are a bit adventurous and not that easy, but doable and the waterfall is of course incredibly beautiful! The path from above is shorter than the one from Progonat, but also a bit more difficult.

Best in early spring when the water is really flowing, but also in summer to swim. Don’t pay for 🅿️! Park along street at small bridge over the river and walk the river down for 20 minutes. Cliff climbs and other caves around as well. Easy 1/2 day.
