It was not until the renovation in the 1960s that the original decorative elements of the facade were destroyed. In the post-war period, the palace was used to organize summer camps for children from Wielkopolska. From 1967, it served the newly established Addiction Treatment Facility, later renamed the Addiction Treatment Facility.
