Today, Tepčina špica is a peak completely overgrown with forest at an altitude of 636 m (at least that's what the maps say, while a slightly higher number is written on the informative mountaineering board located at the peak).

There are the remains of a medieval fortress. They include an elongated plateau today covered with dense forest. In the southwestern and southeastern part of the plateau, there are elevated parts where insignificant remains of the foundations of the wall of an unknown fortification can be seen in the bushes and in the forest. In the southwestern part of the plateau are the remains of the foundations of a stone polygonal tower (15 meters in diameter) and an earthen embankment about 30 meters long. Considering the remains of the ruins, it is assumed that the fort had a masonry main defensive tower which was additionally fortified with wooden palisades.

This peak is located at the very end of the hiking trail 63 which leads from Laza Stubički. Somewhat further below Tepčina špica, trail 63 ends at a large intersection with trails 33 and 34.

Albeit this place at first glance looks unremarkable, according to Anđelko Đermek,
local old Slavic pagans believed that this was the place of god Perun's golden court. Hence its name Zatinice brijeg (Golden hill). It is also the highest peak in the area, looking from the Zaprešić side of the mountain, as it is some 100 meters higher than more popular Kameniti svati.

Have a beer at Medvednica! Enjoy the view! Be BEWARE of downhill bikers who do not care a thing about creatures walking on two or more legs!
