Wiseman's View

This viewpoint is a short 0.2 mile walk from the parking lot, and provides some of the most spectacular views in the entire area. Two viewing platforms stand 1,500 feet over the valley floor and peer out to the peaks surrounding the gorge. Table Rock, Sitting Bear Mountain, and Hawksbill Mountain are all easily seen from here.

The area is fully wheelchair accessible. There is a restroom available in the parking area, but no drinking water is available on site.

Wiseman's View is an official overlook that's less than a quarter mile from the parking lot, so it sees some crowds. You get pretty awesome views of Table Rock and Sitting Bear Mountain along with the river valley down below. Kistler Memorial Highway makes for great running if you want additional miles.
