A 7,190-acre reservoir on the Little Platte River with 175 miles of shoreline, where recreation meets wilderness just 30 minutes north of Kansas City. The area offers two full-service marinas (with boat rentals), equestrian trails (over 25 miles), hiking & biking paths, swimming beaches, picnic areas, and multiple campgrounds including Camp Branch and Crows Creek. In the narrower upper arms of the reservoir, the waterway narrows into timbered channels and hidden inlets, providing a quieter environment for paddlers and anglers to escape the crowds.
