Kunětická Hora Castle (German: Kunburg, Kuneberg, also Burg Kunietitz) is located on the summit of Kunětická Hora (Kunietitzer Berg) in the municipality of Ráby in the Pardubice District, Czech Republic. According to the Czeská Kronyka of Václav Hájek of Libočan, Kunak, a cousin of Duke Křesomysl, and his wife Zdislawa are said to have established a spacious farm below the mountain in 838 while searching for a site for a new manor. The following year, he is said to have built a wooden castle, Kunakowa Hora, on the hill. Many years later, the village of Kunaticze emerged near the Kunak estate, and the people named the castle after the village.
