A short tour from the Alpe Vilsalpsee. It is most likely to be worthwhile if it has rained before or if the snow has melted. With a lot of water, the waterfall is spectacular.

Rideable with MTB but rough and steep. At the waterfall approx. 200 m push-along section, S2-S3, the tour is doable, but rough, coarse and steep, so only for experienced bikers.

The path is well-maintained, and a detour from the lake to the waterfall is definitely worth it.

After crossing the stream, where you might get your feet wet, you walk along narrow rocky paths. The vegetation here is unique.

. the so-called "waterfall circuit" in the "Vilsalpe" nature reserve, near Tannheim, Tyrol. - A detour to the "Bergaicht waterfall" is recommended - Sure-footedness is recommended here - At one point you have to cross the stream (depending on the water level, you might get wet feet) - Trail no. 55

A beautiful circular route. From the turnoff to the waterfall and the western section of the path are the real highlights for me due to their rustic character. During my hike, you had to guess how to access the western section, as you had to cross a stream over rubble and the rest of the path was not clearly visible. But that's what makes it so special. In addition to the Bergaicht waterfall, there were numerous other smaller waterfalls to see on the section to the Vilsalpe. I was able to experience the path after the first snowfall and glorious sunshine in mid-September, it was amazing (unfortunately, it can't be shown in the photos).

The right part of the path can be flooded in some places, as is currently the case with a lot of water, so you have to find a new path

Beautiful circular hiking trail with a length of around 3 km and a walking time of 1 hour. The way back is slightly alpine and you have to cross the stream over rubble several times. The trail was also easy to manage with a small child (9 years old).
