The church door was closed. But the cemetery around it is a wonder. The tools hang at the entrance on a board. You can see the work in them. Unfortunately, I didn't meet the person, but I respectfully accepted the invitation to visit.

The medieval village church, with its rich Baroque interior, still contains elements dating back to the mid-13th century. However, it was renovated and altered in 1760. The church contains three gravestones of members of the old Mecklenburg noble family of Maltzahn. Dating back to 1227, the church is in good condition thanks to restoration in the late 1980s. Among the church's special features are the richly decorated pulpit altar and the Grüneberg organ, built around 1850.
