Beautiful views of the hop fields. The cycle path runs right past them. If you cycle past regularly, you can practically watch the hops grow.

The parking spaces at the Roman villa could also serve as a starting point for a hike. There's also a rest area at the villa for a break. Quite a nice view from up here.

The bridge sways slightly but is still easy to walk on. In the middle, there are benches on each side.

Beautiful beer garden and very friendly staff (greetings from Bavaria 😉). They offer light meals, cakes, and ice cream. A lovely way to end a great hike. And the shandy was delicious 🍻!

After the old bridge was washed away in a storm in 2021, this amazing suspension bridge was built. Walking across it is an experience; it swings and makes you feel like you're on the high seas 😂. There are two benches at the highest point for resting, but I'm not sure if that's good for you 🤢?

The remains of an impressive Roman villa stand in the middle of the countryside – complete with an information panel and a reconstructed floor plan. Where landowners once lived, you can now stroll among the ruins and gaze deep into the past. The excavation impressively demonstrates how complex life was in ancient times – and how closely connected it is to this landscape. 📚 Tip: Take a quick look at the information panel – the representation of the rooms will give you a real visual impression of what it looked like here 2,000 years ago.
