The Roikier See (also: Roikiersee) is a forest lake that is part of the Groß-Tremmerup forest near Glücksburg (Baltic Sea). It is approximately 3.6 hectares in size and is probably the only real forest lake in the fishing region. The Roikier See was created in the 13th century from a moor area cleared by monks from the Cistercian monastery in Glücksburg at the time. The lake was used for fresh water supply and carp breeding. Hot dog from the kiosk, then on to the beach. Don't forget the long sand/headland in the fjord.
