Very beautiful, but up to the restaurant Roseg Gletscher also a very busy valley (hikers, bikers, horse-drawn carriages). Further back then almost no people anymore, currently the path in the old landslide area (April 2024) is still closed (in September 2024 I made it to Ley Vadret at the back with some scrambling over the landslide area - very beautiful).

A seven-kilometer-long trail along the Roseg stream leads up to the breathtaking glacier panorama at the Hotel Roseg Glacier. Winter guests don't have to miss out on this either: during the cold season, a classic cross-country ski trail is groomed all the way to the hotel, and sometimes even to the glacier. A gigantic landslide on the almost 4,000-meter-high Piz Scerscen in the spring of 2024 demonstrated the immense forces at work in this mountain world. To return to Livigno, at the top of the Valle del Fieno, take the path on your left, you must carry the bike by hand. DO NOT take the path on the right, it is impassable and DANGEROUS.

Gletschergarten, Cavaglia (Poschiavo) A natural gem, the pots of the giants, shaped by the glaciers of the ice ages, located in the basin of Cavaglia at the foot of the Bernina massif, overlooked by Piz Palü! Access to the glacial mills is extremely easy: they are located near the train station, which can be reached by the legendary "little red train", part of the UNESCO World Heritage since 2008. The glacier garden is open from May to October. Framed by rich flora and varied alpine vegetation, the glacial mills are one of the most impressive sights that Val Poschiavo has to offer!
