The retention reservoir, commonly called Lake Łąka, was created in 1987 on the Pszczynka River. It is located north of Lake Goczalkowickie and west of Pszczyna. In addition to flood protection, it is also a great place for rest and recreation. There is a Water Sports Center on the southern shore of the lake. You can use the sandy beach for a fee, there are also barbecue areas and many other attractions. The eastern shore of the reservoir is a dam whose length is 1,130 meters.
