The upper trail is currently close due to forestry work (April 2021), but it's still possibly to get through by sticking closer to the lakes. Absolutely stunning valley at any time of the year.

Taking you through Woodchester park, by woodchester mansion and down past the bottom lakes, following some lakeside singletrack at the bottom. veer off early for the Blue trail or take the yellow trail for a scenic loop, they all meet up further down
