Anyone who would like to find out more about the life and work of WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (1564 to 1616), the great author of important dramas, is recommended to watch two 15-minute contributions – unfortunately only available in German – as part of the ARD series “Classics of World Literature” by and with Tilman Spengler. Fantastic views on a clear day - well worth the scramble up. The folks who built the trig point carried the concrete up :-)

If you really must, it's likely going to be a steep bike push up the last few metres to the summit from the vehicle track. That said, it's a short zoom back down.

For Trail MTB explorers on an adventure. The local high point with interesting views over StrathTay. From the south, there's a very good wide vehicle-grade gravel track, steep in parts, leading up from Rohallion Loch. Easily rideable on an eMTB. To the north, the vehicle track soon ends and then you're looking for a singletrack path that heads down towards Birnam passing The Stair Bridge viewpoint. The path down is likely a steep S2 nearer Birnam. Given the steepness and rocks, it's probably an S3 climb-up. Watch out for the deep water gullies that cross the track.

For Trail MTB explorers on an adventure. The exhilarating gravel doubletrack stretching from Raor Lodge to Loch Ordie winds past this seemingly unassuming and inconspicuous bump in the landscape, situated right beside the track. However, the breathtaking, panoramic views from its summit are undeniably worth taking a moment's pause in your thrilling adventure! (So says GPT-4)

For Trail MTB explorers on an adventure. At some 510m there are excellent views, to the north, over Perthshire. And there a trig point to 'bag' if so desired. With a bike, the approach from the north-west via Lochan na Beinne is a climb requiring carrying the bike for the final few metres. Descent to the south via the path is not bike friendly (unless you are an expert mountain-biker.)
