Yes, many trails in the Sierra National Forest surrounding Mariposa are dog-friendly, provided your dog is on a leash. The Mariposa Historic Downtown loop from Mariposa is a good option that stays close to town. However, please be aware that dogs are generally not permitted on trails within Yosemite National Park, including most of the Mariposa Grove trails.
