We spontaneously interrupted our tour for lunch. The welcome was very warm and the daily menu was delicious. We can recommend the restaurant.

Nice country hotel. It was very quiet in March. Very good kitchen (evenings). Breakfast is standard, you have a nice view outside through panoramic windows. It is 9 km to the highlight of the Monfragüe National Park, the rock with the many griffon vultures (Salto Del Gitano; bring binoculars!), but also to the Castillo de Monfragüe Castle with a fantastic 360-degree panoramic view (and rock paintings accessible by entrance fee). It goes downhill in serpentines for almost 100 m. Near the Hospederia there is also a bridge of Roman origin within walking distance.
