First time I pedaled here and it was neat to see that now you could walk through the ruins, as in the past when I have been here they were doing restorative work on the building.

I learned from the signs today that this was the first Civil War recruitment station in MN and that Minnesota was the first state to offer troupes to the Civil War for the North! Pretty cool.

I explored it a bit more on foot today, interesting how they have kegs and stuff in the lower rooms. I wonder if they do tours sometimes. They are beautiful ruins.

I thought they were reopening, but still not open today. Too bad, good beer, interesting theme around DnD.

Neat old brewery ruins. They have been uncovering them to keep them for people to see, they were buried when the brewery closed.

Former and possibly future location of Chaotic Good Brewing. I popped in here for the first time last year, they had some great beer! Then I heard they closed, then I heard they got funding again, who knows. Looks pretty closed. But it was a DnD and gaming themed brewery.

The photos of the animals are great, but it was windy and around 12 degrees out, so I just wanted to warm my hands back up.
