The bike path crosses the road once. Coming from Simonshofen toward Bullach, I would switch to the road here. If you continue along the bike path, you'll soon briefly pass through a wooded area and then through a residential area. You can do it, it's not a big deal, but the road is nicer and uninterrupted here.
