The Pioneer Memorial Library, housed in one of Fredericksburg's most stunning buildings, originally functioned as Gillespie County's second courthouse. The current replica, completed in 1935 through a collaboration between the Gillespie County Historical Society and the Works Progress Administration (WPA), now preserves this rich heritage.

The National Museum of the Pacific War offers a thorough and immersive exploration of World War II's Asiatic-Pacific theater. Dedicated to Admiral Nimitz's legacy, the museum honors those who served in the Pacific War by presenting detailed narratives, personal stories, and authentic artifacts.
