Tips from the Community

Jamie S.
April 25, 2025, Mount Hunger

Mount Hunger is a small but scenic peak along the Midstate Trail in Westminster, Massachusetts. Rising to about 1,100 feet, it offers great views, especially overlooking nearby Stodge Meadow Pond. The summit is partially wooded, but there are a few clearings where you can catch glimpses of the surrounding hills and forests.

February 24, 2022, Mount Watatic

You probably won't experience loneliness on this popular summit, but you will get an incredible panoramic view of the Boston skyline, the proudly rising Mount Wachusett and Mount Monadnock, and the rolling hills of the Wapack Range. The view is especially beautiful in the fall, of course, when the trees turn all sorts of colors from green to yellow and brilliant red.
