Lake Weeroona was commissioned in 1878 and sits on the site of a former mine. Located just north of the Bendigo CBD the lake and surrounding parklands offer walking paths, BBQs, playgrounds, as well as being the home of the Boardwalk Restaurant and Bendigo Rowing Club.
