At this junction you will find a sign that reads "Chickies Rock Overlook Trail" with two dividing trails. There are no wrong turns here since all roads lead to the overlook! The packed trail leading up to this point continues straight, while a slightly more rugged trail with a little incline branches off to the right. Many like to take one of these trails in, and the other on the way back for a little loop.

The trail runs along the remains of an old trolley line from the early 1900s which once led tourists to the overlook.
