This loop trail takes you along the tranquil Ljusnan river, through charming villages and farmland, and then changes scenery as you head into the forest for the return. On the final stretch, you'll pass through a beautiful old-growth forest, also used as a nature school area, just near Stenegård. The trail is clearly marked with blue paint on trees and numerous signposts at road and trail crossings. However, signage right at Stenegård is currently minimal. If hiking counterclockwise, the first clear sign appears where the trail meets a gravel road at Sannahia near Ljusnan, below Stenegård's big parking lot. If you prefer hiking clockwise, look for the first sign right behind Café Järvsö Klämman at Stenegård.
