Lake Bled is located in the Upper Carniola region (Gorenjska) near the spa town of Bled at the foot of the Pokljuka Plateau. The lake lies at an elevation of 475 m. It's easy to walk around the lake, and there are plenty of places to stop for refreshments! The cream cakes are an absolute must! During the summer months, it's very busy, especially on weekends! Cycling around the lake is not recommended!

A very beautiful hike with fantastic views. It's a great hike for children. The gorge is 1.6 km long. The return route from the rest stop after the gorge is quite long, but the hiking pass begins there with the marble run, which has some great stops.

After about 4 km, you reach the gorge, for which you have to pay an entrance fee. In our case, it was €15 for a specific time slot. You can book the time slot online (preferably in advance). The gorge is very beautiful, but also touristy. It's great for children, with an audio guide. It's a very easy hike.
