Surrounded by fantastic views of the nearby hilltops on this trail: Slagebäckstöten to the west and Ulandshögen to the east.

An atmospheric shelter/rest hut. In good weather, take advantage of the outdoor benches around a fireplace. Next to the hut a small stream flows providing a water source. There is also an emergency telephone in the hut.

In July, with good weather, definitely go early - the later, the more people. Hiking poles are helpful, the paths are very wet, with many stones and tree roots.

Please note: Do not go up from the parking lot. First follow the road further, then a dead-end street and in a sharp bend to the right, turn left onto planks (orange markings). Beautiful walk.

Weatherproof clothing is a must, a real weather kitchen.

Sturdy footwear is recommended for the ascent, and hiking poles are also worth their weight in gold here. It's worth climbing all the way to the summit; in summer it was possible without any problems. The ground is loose, but with a little care, it's not a major hurdle.

I join the general enthusiasm for this great spot. I was here in winter and was glad to have had snowshoes with me. The ascent from the east was also done on foot by several skiers, but the way across the Fjäll definitely required skis or snowshoes. I went up from the west and it was quite a climb. But great! Since I was at the top in the fog the first time, I came back again in good weather.
