John Halles Hall is a well-preserved merchant's house from the 15th century and one of the most important examples of medieval architecture in Salisbury.. The Odeon Cinema Salisbury opened in 1931 and is a characteristic Art Deco-style cinema. It was designed by the renowned cinema architect William Edward Trent and continues to shape the streetscape of Fisherton Street to this day.

Old George Mall is the most important shopping center in Salisbury city center and is located directly on the High Street. It combines modern retail stores with a historic site, whose roots go back to the medieval Old George Inn. Today's complex includes around 40 shops as well as cafes and restaurants. Well-known shops include Marks & Spencer, Primark, H&M, Lakeland, Rituals, Superdrug, and Deichmann, among others.
