The Stove, Alms Hill, Bourn, Cambridge Great cafe with plenty of spaces inside and out

Double ford with short section of lane in between that floods after heavy rain - there is an elevated path if you don’t fancy riding through the water.

Good views and a bench to sit on. Downhill is grassy but I managed it even in the winter on a road bike. Connects to other bridleways when you turn right at the bottom of the hill and also the Cambourne to Caxton bridleway which avoids the A1198. Currently very muddy (January 2020). I did get to the end on a road bike although I also had to spend 15 minutes cleaning the bike!!
