A fundamentally beautiful "corner" of Berlin. Unfortunately, animals (beavers) and humans have cleared quite a bit in recent years, so that in March, without foliage and green plants, it looks a bit sparse. This affects the path from Schmöckwitz to the Waldhotel. Further south, it continues to be very beautiful to walk along the shore through the forest with a view of the Zeuthener See lake.

It's reasonably easy to drive on here, although a bit rooty in some places.

With two breaks, the hike took about three hours. We wore barefoot shoes. The weather was perfect for the end of April.
