Very nice location, well attended, lots of racers. The food and drinks were great.

A tough section, where you have to find your line well to avoid too much bouncing. The real Flandrien rides it as a climb of course (pay close attention if you were to descend it). Here and there the stones are quite far apart, filled with sand. A beautiful climb, almost through a sunken road. Because of those trees on the side, there is a bit more bouncing with the tree roots. Fan of cobblestone sections? Check out our Collection of ready-made cobblestone cycling routes, collected in the book “De Hel van het Zuiden”, downloadable for €9. You get 7 routes, with multiple distances. 25 GPXs in total! Of course incl. pre-fun via Komoot! Beautiful place with a view of the Brabantse wal. Nature reserve with beautiful birds. With a bit of luck in the right season you can even spot the spoonbill and hear the cuckoo. In the evenings you can also see a deer or three.

This Sherman tank has been at this location since 1978. It is painted as a tribute with markings from Fort Garry Horse and is a reminder of the heavy battle that took place here in October 1944.

Ships come, ships go. Excellent location to see our economy pass through here in the large container ships on their way to Antwerp.
