Frustuna kyrka is the main church of Frustuna parish in Gnesta municipality, Sweden. It sits by Lake Frösjön, and its churchyard is set in a beautiful location with views over the lake and the town of Gnesta.

There is a water pump here, marked on the Sörmlandsleden trail maps, but that has a sign on it saying that the water is not safe to drink. It is not clear exactly what is wrong with the water, but I did not dare chance it. There is another water pump just 500m south of here that does not have such a sign, but that water still tasted pretty bad, even after filtering. I would recommend other sources if possible.

Here is a shelter with a simple fireplace. There is both an axe and a saw for preparing firewood, but there is no ready supply of wood. There is also a small outhouse next to the shelter. Just down the hill from the shelter, within view, is a single house. There is no water source near the shelter. You would have to bring water from somewhere else along the trail.

Seeing the previous photos, it seems that the place was renovated very recently (we went there in July 2024). Wonderful big windshelter, directly on the Sörmlandsleden. Very large barbecue area with large benches. The area around is wide and flat, perfect to pitch tents. There are also many blueberries during summer, a'd a lake nearby with planks to access the water.

Nice shelter and fireplace next to a small lake. There are several spots suitable for pitching a tent.

The bridge is small but strong. It takes you across this swamp very well.
