The Lago del Brasimone (also known as the Scalere basin) is a splendid artificial lake located in the Bolognese Apennines, within the municipal territory of Camugnano. It is situated at about 800 meters above sea level and is entirely included in the Regional Park of the Suviana and Brasimone Lakes.

to have the most effective views it is recommended to do this tour going up from Lagaro and first passing by lake Brasimone, the slopes are very similar but the first climbs will be sunny so it is better to do them early in the morning; in this way, however, the panoramic views of the lakes will be of great effect. Downhill from the lakes, then, the appearance of the splendid Rocchetta Mattei will take your breath away 👍🏼
