Actually a nice path from Tiefthal to Grundmühle, but at the moment it is totally sloppy and not necessarily recommendable.

The cross, which is taller than a man and is made of ash wood, was created by the Friedrichsdorf sculptor Ulrich Minkus. It is reminiscent of the Orphal monastery, which was first mentioned in 1074 and is said to have stood on this spot.
