The view of Hohenneuffen Castle is worth it, because the castle ruins impressively tower over the Albvorland and can be seen from afar. From here, you can enjoy a wide view over the Swabian Jura, the Ermstal valley, and on clear days even as far as the Black Forest. The combination of nature, history, and panorama makes Hohenneuffen a popular excursion destination.

Station 8 "Walls and Gates" of the Celtic Experience Trail over the fortifications of the Heidengraben. These were once almost 11 km long and had eight gates (A – H). The outermost fortification lines ran south of Grabenstetten, north of Erkenbrechtsweiler and southwest of the burial ground near Burrenhof. Three monumental gates (E, G, and F) secured the entrances there. Gate F is the largest and best-preserved among them.
