The sculpture group in the Ribbeck Castle Park is "The Havel" by Knuth Seim from 2009. The three "Havel girls", cast in bronze, lounge in different poses on a curved, paved area, which is apparently intended to symbolize the course of the Havel river. On this paved area, you will also find places from Fontane's poem "Havelland" from 1873, although you will search for Ribbeck in vain. Because Fontane did not visit Ribbeck at all during his wanderings through the Mark of Brandenburg. He only wrote the poem "Herr von Ribbeck auf Ribbeck im Havelland" in 1889 and dedicated it to the lord of Ribbeck.

More space and a nice big terrace for the washhouse that has been moved into the distillery. The delicious pear tarts are also available here, of course.

Always worth a visit, these delicious cakes. At least once a year for over 10 years, it just has to be. More information: http://waschhaus-ribbeck.de/#loaded The wash house has now moved to the old distillery. Luckily there are still cakes and flair, but now there is a little more space.

At the end of the shore path, which leads along the Groß Behnitzer See, an idyllic bench awaits the weary hiker. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet and let your gaze wander before continuing on your way rested. There are even a few small shelves on the left and right for the marching provisions and they are also covered! - A gem that will hopefully stay in this perfect condition for a long time to come...
